(More customer reviews)I awaited the release of this book for months and maybe that is part of my disappointment. The book had little of the constant action of the earlier books in the series. The biggest disappointment was when the author mentioned David Tangretti's father as "Hank Tangretti" on page 159. David's father was Bill Tangretti, who was on Koh Tang in Seals the Warrior Breed - In Harm's Way. Bill has a half brother Hank Richardson.
The fact the author did not remember or do his research is disappointing. Also the fact this book seemed to take more than a few shots at President Bush seemed out of line. If there is another book published I will buy it more for the fact I have all eleven and to keep the set going. I hope the author gets feed back like this and will do a better job on the next book.

For almost half a century, the SEALs have answered their nation's call to battle. And now the Navy's best are going to war five-hundred miles from the nearest sea—to stem the rising tide of violent terror in a volatile desert land.
The intel is sketchy; the battle lines nearly impossible to untangle. But a veteran SEAL team knows what its mission is in the remote mountains of Iraq: to diffuse a terrorist threat that is taking a savage toll in blood, both soldier and civilian. But, though allies and enemies are often indistinguishable in this nightmarish conflict, and even the most carefully planned strategies can explode without warning, the SEALs will prevail . . . or die fighting. And they will never leave a brother behind.
